When employees know that they could be given a bonus payment will give them the feeling of appreciation and will encourage them to be motivated to work harder. In an article written by Maria Charalambous, she stated, “Bonus payments to employees give them the incentive to work hard and be motivated. If you give out bonuses at a specific time of the year, then employees will have something to work towards” (Charalambous, 2013). This will help improve your employee’s performance to do their tasks better than their job expectations.
In a short amount of time, you will see how productivity, efficiency, and profits will increase within your organization. Employees moral will increase once your employees have something to work hard for so that the gain more benefits.
